Boxer
Scottish 80/- Ale
An “eighty shilling ale” that has a nice malty flavor with hints of caramel and honey. It’s an easy-drinking beer with subtle, yet balanced hops.
Boxer is a character in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. He is described as the farm’s most dedicated and loyal laborer. Boxer has a motto from the beginning of the story: “I will work harder.” When he collapses from overwork, the pigs, in exchange for money to buy a case of whiskey, send him to be slaughtered.
