This beer launched on Feb. 12, 2010, and here’s what Phantom Canyon’s brewmaster Alan Stiles had to say about the name, “I’ve been a big fan of (Roky Erickson) since college and just watched a documentary on him (sad story with relatively good ending).

We’ve named a few of the specialties after songs, e.g. Funky Cold Medina and Baba O’Reily aka Teenage Wasteland.

Two Headed Dog is an intense Colorado DIPA made for hop lovers. Abundant Yakima Valley hops give this medium-bodied ale fruity citrus, floral and spicy flavors over a firm maltiness. It finishes with a lingering bitterness.

Served in a snifter. 8.4% ABV, 114 IBU.
